Learn to Row

Never rowed before or been out of the boat for years and you need a refresher? Learn to row at ARC.

  • Our LtR programme runs for six weeks at least four times a year.

  • During the programme you’ll learn the basics of rowing in a pressure-free environment. The course looks like this:

Introduction, terms, boat safety and the basic stroke on an ergometer.

Rack to water procedures and safety, rowing boat anatomy, your first strokes on the water.

Learning to sweep and scull on the water.

  • Rowing is a social sport, so you will meet like-minded people who may just become friends for life.

$250 for the six week programme. For ages 17+.

The next LtR programme will run soon.
